A month has already gone by since I started putting together a monthly Income and Traffic Report, so it’s time for round two.
Why am I doing this?:
The point of showing you my stats on a monthly basis is so that you can come along with me on the journey of improving Pure Sweet Joy. I’m aiming for transparency that can keep me striving for my best, as well as help you in your own blogging journey. I know, I know, it’s not only about the numbers, but it is a good way to measure progress. Each month I intend to post my Google Analytics stats, along with any expenses and earnings that I may have received. I’ll also speak about any changes or improvements made, accomplishments achieved and challenges faced that month.
I’m almost ready to switch over to MailChimp for email subscriptions. At the moment every time I post it just gets automatically sent to all subscribers by WordPress. By switching to MailChimp I’ll have much more control over what gets sent. Instead of the post automatically being emailed out, I’ll curate a weekly digest of posts and be able to add in personal messages.
Time has still been my biggest challenge. Trying to be a wife, homemaker, friend, daughter and employee, while still trying to be a supply-shopper, crafter, photographer and writer is difficult! Huge respect for those who also have to be a mommy or daddy!
This coming month I’ll make the final switch over to MailChimp (and I’d love your feedback!). To be added to this list, subscribe in the form in the sidebar.
